Pet Policies

We wholeheartedly welcome a wide variety of pets into our rentals. Pets are good for people. That being said, we do not accept ALL pets. Our pet policies are as follows:

• We love cats! They must be litter box trained.
• We also love dogs! We do not have size restrictions for dogs at most of our properties; however, some of our properties can accommodate only medium or small dogs.
• In most of our rentals we do NOT accept Pit Bulls or dogs which look like pit bulls, whether mixed-breed or full breed. We do not accept pets who are aggressive or who have bitten anyone in the past, who attack other animals, or who have caused significant property damage at other properties.
• In general, we charge $50 Pet Rent for the first pet, and we will consult with pet owners regarding rent for any additional pets.
• Renters liability insurance with dog bite coverage is REQUIRED for dogs.
• Cats and dogs must be vaccinated. Dogs must be licensed.
• Reptiles, birds and other small animals must be kept in a cage or terrarium.

Most importantly: Residents must be responsible pet owners. They must clean up after their pets, make sure their pets do not disturb others, and they must not leave their pets outdoors or unsupervised for unreasonable periods of time. We want loving pet owners, happy pets AND happy neighbors!
